• How To Make A Better Picture / PH104
The focus of this course is to help students develop a sense of visual acuity and psychological awareness, so that they will have the skills and confidence to make better pictures. Our goal is to create a learning environment where a community of photographers utilizes this workshop to share ideas and develop their work.
• The Anti-Snap Shot / PH106
Sometimes the most successful portraits are ones in which the subjects collaborate. The photographer will be encouraged to think like a director and the model a character actor. Props, clothing, lighting will be considered. An environment will be created to enhance the visual theater. Either experimental or formal, the images created might be called “the anti-snap shot.”
